- Penalties for early withdrawal of savings
- Alimony paid
- Student loan interest
- Prescription eyeglasses, contacts, and hearing aids
- Crutches, canes, and orthopedic shoes
- Medical transportation costs
- Cost of alcohol or drug abuse treatments
- Charitable contributions
- State income taxes
- Personal property taxes (limited in 2018)
- Real estate taxes (limited in 2018)
- Points paid for a new mortgage or for refinancing a home (limited in 2018)
Unreimbursed employee business expenses(eliminated starting 2018)- Copies of 1099, 1098, Social Security Annual Statement (SSA-1099) and W2
- Mileage and other expenses associated with volunteer work
Casualty and theft losses(suspended starting 2018)- Mortgage interest statement (limited in 2018)
- ACA (Affordable Care Act / Obamacare) Form(s) 1095
